Sure did. But I have to give Favre credit for hanging in there after he got injured. When he was being helped off the field,I was SURE he was done and there was no way Tarvaris could've led us to a win from there. I hope the success and fun he had this year will bring him back again next year (he is signed). But I'm sure we'll have to play another round of "Will I retire? I'm retired. I might have changed my mind. I'm still thinking about it. I'm not sure yet. I think I'm going to stay retired. Now I'm not so sure. Ok I want to play again" first.

But all that fun and success he had this year could also be a good point to hang it all up on once and for all. Without Favre, we're a rather mediocre team. Tarvaris just doesn't have the accuracy, consistency or decision-making abilities yet, and that leaves us very one-dimensional. With AP putting the ball on the turf as often as he does.... that's scary.

I'm sure Favre will wait until the Vikings trade for Donovan McNabb before deciding he wants to come back or something to that effect
