If I can't *find* my phone soon, we'll be switching sooner than planned. :x

I've been pretty happy with Verizon. Here and there people have better service with sprint or cingular, but overall its been pretty consistant around the cities. As far as I can tell its good for traveling too... as long as you are sorta near a freeway you get a good signal (here to duluth and between, west on 94 to boseman)

My phone has now been missing for a wek. I'm in withdrawal.

I think judy and I are going to be heading to a Verizon reseller this weekend.

I used to be on cingular, then they double debited my account for a past due bill and took a day fixing it. Then when I had overdraft charges because of this double-debit, they gave me the runaround about paying me back.

I'm on verizon now, and renewed my one-year contract earlier this month.

Well, spending the last 2 months in rural Montana (yeah, it's all rural) and then in Gunnison, Colorado. I would have to say if you do traveling at all, Verizon has by far the best all around service as far as coverage area goes. If anyone in our group would have cell phone service, it would be those with verizon phones (and I was surprised many times how they would have service in the middle of nowhere).

On the other hand. I have Sprint. I think their plans are the cheapest, and they have stellar service in every major city and on almost all major highways across the nation (just not very far outside of those areas).

So, if you travel around the country and spend the majority of your time in major cities -- I would recommend Sprint. If you like to travel to random rural places, I would say Verizon.
