Established in 2012, Vector Group initially acquired the international marketing and distribution rights for Vector Powerboats Inc. and set about creating the world’s most iconic high-performance marine brand.

In only five years, Vector has become a globally recognised premier marine performance brand through consistent and highly-innovative media, marketing and content-driven initiatives which have inpired a whole new generation of marine-performance enthusiasts and fans globally.

Vector’s social media channels currently service over 1 million users, making it already the largest audience in the marine industry. Through its partnership with Ubisoft’s ‘The Crew 2’ over 13 million miles have now been driven behind the wheel of the Vector V40R.

Through high-profile media partnerships with Martini and Porsche (2014 – 2017) the Vector Martini Racing team became the most successful international powerboat racing team in modern times with back-to-back victories in the Cowes Classic 2014/15, two British Championship titles and for K7 Gold stars. In 2018 the team partnered with Jaguar Landrover and Williams Advanced Engineering and went on to break the maritime World Record for electric power at Coniston, reaching an average speed of 88.6mph.

In addition to an increased racing programme in 2020, Vector will significantly expand its media portfolio through the development of additional platforms including a new adventure reality TV format, a feature film franchise, the development of Marine Technology Centre (Vector World) , and a new international racing format. Vector will also attempt to break 12 established World Records and National Records in the next 12 months.

Alongside its flagship V40 design, the company has now completed designs for further retail and security models including the V50 and the V60. Vector will also continue with its development of high-performance electric-hybrid maritime solutions to service future commercial and security applications.

Vector will also introduce new security models in 2020 including the V40S, V50S and V60S designs for application in maritime surveillance, deterrent, interception and coastal protection.
